On-Device Processing
strv2ig is designed with privacy in mind. All data processing occurs locally on your device. Your STRAVA activity data and photos are processed entirely within the app without being transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Data We Access
The app may temporarily access the following data on your device:
- STRAVA Activity Data: When you connect your STRAVA account, we access your activity information (such as distance, time, pace, and route data) directly via the STRAVA API. This data is only used locally to create your Instagram Stories and is not stored on any external servers.
- Photos: When you select photos from your camera roll, they are processed locally on your device to create the combined story image. We do not upload or store your photos externally.
Data Storage
We do not maintain servers that store your personal data. Your STRAVA authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain. No user accounts, activity data, or photos are stored on our servers.
Third-Party Services
strv2ig integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
- STRAVA: To access your activity data, you must authorize our app through STRAVA's OAuth system. Please review STRAVA's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your data.
- Instagram: When you share content to Instagram, you are subject to Instagram's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data to improve app performance and user experience. This data does not include personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify individual users.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke STRAVA access through your STRAVA account settings
- Delete the app, which removes all locally stored data
